School textbook Illustrations

A brief portfolio of illustrations for school textbooks, made in recent years for major publishers such as SM and Santillana among others. Some of these children's illustrations are part of visual dictionaries, reading books and exercise books for primary school students.

There is a great universe of illustrations for school textbooks where situations, characters, actions, objects, animals, etc. are represented. The style has to be simple and fresh to attract the eyes of young students, but also because of the delivery time required by publishers to realize their editorial projects in printed and digital books.

My work process like many illustrators starts with pencil and paper, where I sketch and design the basis of the composition. Color adjustments and textures are made in Photoshop and Clip Studio.
